Matt Camp grew up playing sports and running. He’s recently gotten back into running, through the help of P90X and FitWit, one of Atlanta’s many boot camps. He completed his first Tough Mudder in February 2012 in Washington, Georgia. Both Matt and his brother, Scott, ran the entire Tough Mudder, stopping only for the course obstacles. Matt is looking forward to the Tampa Tough Mudder in December 20112 and raising money for such a worthwhile and honorable charity.
Alicia Coombs took up running about 4 years ago, when she decided that her lifelong affliction with asthma was not a sufficient reason to not be able to run. Since then, her love of running has only continued, as she’s completed 3 half marathons, a handful of 10k’s, and really looks forward to her long weekend runs. She’s supporting DHB because she believes strongly in the need for assistance for the surviving children of cancer patients, who have already had to deal with a huge event in their young lives.
Jeb Gaybrick ran a 2.53 in his last marathon. He is Ivy League educated, a handsome dude, and an honest to g*d really nice guy. In short, your mother would be proud if you brought him home one day. He plans to crush the Boston Marathon next.
Vince Jacobs is an avid marathon runner. He will be running his first Chicago Marathon to support Brant’s fund. Vince lives in Tampa, FL and is married with two children
Melissa Walton: I chose to run my race because Brant would have absolutely loved it. I chose to run for DHB because when my husband, Brant died from cancer I was given a lot of support, both financially and emotionally, and both were needed and incredibly helpful. I wanted to raise money for DHB so that other widowed moms or dads could have some of the same support I was given.
