Our Story

Katie’s Truth started as Katie’s secret. Her secret was that she struggled silently with bulimia nervosa. With her passing in 2019, her family found a passion to help those struggling with eating disorders as well as their families. This foundation was created out of a desire to raise awareness and provide resources that they felt were not accessible during their time of need. In hopes that we’re building a world where no one faces an eating disorder alone.

We provide education, resources, and compassionate support for individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Through collaboration with medical professionals, funding for treatment, and advocacy efforts, we strive to improve recovery outcomes and reduce stigma.
