In Memory of Susan Mosure

In 2018, The Learning Spectrum (TLS) renamed its annual Golf4Autism Fundraiser to The Susan Mosure Golf4Autism Memorial. Susan was TLS’s Finance Director, who lost her battle with cancer in 2017. She truly enjoyed working at TLS and was passionate about doing everything she could to ensure children had access to autism-related programs during the school district’s summer break. Maintaining social interaction and participating in engaging activities during the summer helps reduce the likelihood of academic and behavioral regression during the summer months.

Proceeds raised from the Susan Mosure Golf4Autism Memorial support the mission of the Susan Mosure Memorial Fund (SMMF). The SMMF provides financial support so that more kids on the autism spectrum are able to participate in autism-related summer programs. In 2025, the SMMF also began supporting transition job training programs for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum.

The SMMF is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Since 2018, the SMMF has awarded over $125,000 in funding. Together with your support, this annual event will continue to bring community awareness to the needs of local families as well as raise funds for these important organizations. Your contributions and participation mean the world. Your support will help to make this event yet another memorable and successful one.

* Dress Code (applies golfers, volunteers and sponsors): Men: Shirts must be tucked in and have a collar (mock or traditional) that clearly distinguish the garment from a t-shirt. T-shirts and sleeveless shirts are not permitted. Shorts must be of “walking” or Bermuda length. Gym shorts, sweatpants or jeans of any color are not permitted. Headwear must be worn in traditional fashion.

The event will again include our hugely successful silent auction and raffle. We are currently looking for donation items to auction. In the past, both our silent auction and raffle prizes throughout the day brought an additional level of entertainment and fun! With your support we can make that happen again this year.  If you would like to sponsor the event through a financial contribution, or send a team of golfers, and have your organization represented throughout our event please do so here!
