The Kristina Scholarship
In Memory of Carolyn Marie
The Kristina Scholarship, established in 2024, Distributions are awarded annually to Dance students in support of their efforts to pursue their given aspirations. As a general guideline, recipients have demonstrated an understanding of excellence as a function of persistence and hard work and are in need of financial aid.
The Kristina Scholarship, established in 2024, is a tribute to the memory of Carolyn Marie est by her daughter and granddaughter Kristina Howe and Erin Merkley. Distributions are awarded annually to Dance students in support of their efforts to pursue their given aspirations. As a general guideline, recipients have demonstrated an understanding of excellence as a function of persistence and hard work and are in need of financial aid.
Scholarship Details
Erin Merkley has established a continuing education fund for girls in the name of Kristina who was the organizer and Inspiration of this dance Scholarship. The scholarship is intended for Girls who are pursuing dance education and need financial aid. The scholarship award amount will be determined by the number of qualified candidates and the funds available.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant is a Girl who Loves dance and is in need of financial aid.
- Is from the Northern Colorado Area
- Completes the application form and provides reasons for scholarship.
- Previous applicants are welcome to re-apply
