THIS IS HAPPENING
Milford isn’t asking if it should build a skatepark.
We’re building one.
After years of community effort, town support, and design development, the Milford Skatepark is real—and now we’re in the final push to make it happen.
What started as a grassroots idea has become:
- A town-supported project
- A fully developed design
- A growing movement backed by the community
Now, it’s time to build it.
WHY IT MATTERS
This park fills a gap that already exists.
Right now:
- Hundreds of local skaters have no dedicated place to ride
- Families travel outside of town to find safe spaces
- Public areas are used in ways they weren’t designed for
This skatepark changes that.
It creates:
- A safe, inclusive place to ride
- A positive outlet for kids and teens
- A space where people connect, grow, and belong
Help Build IT
We’re in the final phase of making this park a reality.
Every dollar goes directly toward:
- Building features
- Creating safe infrastructure
- Bringing the full vision to life
We need to raise $150,000 to fund amenities (shade, benches, bike rack, water fountain).
The park itself will be funded by grants and the town. The Parks Department is managing the actual skatepark construction and financing. Please contact them with questions related to park financing, construction, timeline and other details.
Interested in sponsoring an amenity? Learn more or contact Tom Stearns and put sponsor in the subject line.
