APPROVED PARK RENDERINGS

BUILD THE MILFORD SKATEPARK

Milford is ready for a permanent, world-class skatepark.

We’re building an 18,800 sq ft, fully designed, community-driven skatepark at Vernon Field—created for skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter riders, roller skaters, and more.

This will be:

  • Free and open to the public
  • Designed for all skill levels
  • A year-round destination (weather permitting)
  • A safe, inclusive place to ride and connect

WHY THIS PARK MATTERS

This isn’t just a recreational upgrade—it’s a missing piece of our town.

  • ~900 local skateboarders already live here
  • Thousands more participate in other wheeled sports
  • The nearest comparable skatepark is ~15 miles away

This park gives our community something it doesn’t currently have:

👉 A dedicated space to belong

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Street and transition terrain
  • Beginner-friendly zones
  • Spectator and gathering areas
  • Lighting for extended evening use

BUILT BY THE COMMUNITY

This design has gone through 7 revisions with:

  • Public input
  • Local skaters and riders
  • Town officials

This is Milford’s park—through and through. There’ll even be Milford pink granite in parts of it.
