Ricky Dawkins, Jr Memorial Scholarship
The Ricky Dawkins, Jr. Memorial Scholarship is in memory of my beloved son Ricky Dawkins, Jr who lost his life at age 14. Ricky loved to draw as well as play piano. He also had an incredible aptitude for building and assembling LEGO sets. Because Ricky’s dream was to be an artist, musician, or architect his family and friends wish to establish a scholarship in his name to support other students like him to realize their dreams in art, music, or architecture.
This scholarship is meant to honor him by helping one African American college student per year pursue an education in the arts.
