Sally Hines Novak Foundation

Sally was an eternal mother, and she raised and nurtured more than just her three biological children. With tremendous love, she poured herself into others, and she was adored for it.

Together, we came up with the idea for her Foundation because she wanted a way to continue to help those in need after she transitioned out of this life. Her desire to lend a helping hand was persistent and heartfelt throughout her life, and with this fund we hope to cement her legacy of care.

Sally Hines Novak Foundation | Mission Statement:

The Sally Hines Novak Foundation funds organizations devoted to the front line aid of women in turmoil.

We recognize a need for access to immediate support and guidance for women that are trapped in abusive relationships, cultures of repression, or lack of opportunity. The Foundation endeavors to empower women through opportunities of housing, legal aid, education, or hunger.

Types of Organizations:

  • Shelters, crisis centers
  • Education and job training
  • Legal aid

Restrictions: The Foundation should fund organizations that are not exclusive to religious affiliation. Sally believed Jesus’ examples of service and care were not dependent on acceptance of His message, and it was her wish to fund organizations that are accepting of all people.
