Providing Musical Resources to Kids Who Rock
Since 2012, the Rock it Forward Foundation (“RIFF”) has worked to provide musical resources to kids in need. Our efforts stretch from St. Louis to Denver, both places that Joe called home. We are very proud of the $85K we have collectively raised for kids in need. In St. Louis our efforts have been focused on the Christian Activity Center (CAC) in East St. Louis. The funds raised have helped to provide children the ability to participate in music camps, music lessons, the purchase of instruments for local music programs, voice lessons, and much more. These programs give the kids structure, direction, and the chance to pursue a love of music as a lifelong passion. Because of your donations we have been able to offer voice, drums, and piano lessons year round at the CAC. We are excited to continue our partnership with this wonderful organization in 2016! Why We Rock
RIFF began in an effort to honor a dear friend, Joe Leslie. Joe passed away in January 2012 of a sudden heart attack at the young age of 41. In keeping with the celebration of Joe, his life, and his love for music, this scholarship fund was created. Joe had a passion for many things, and that passion was evident in his love for music. We know Joe would have wanted to pass it along.
