Clyde M Ikuta MD Scholar Athlete Memorial Fund

The Clyde M Ikuta MD Scholar Athlete Memorial Fund honors Dr. Ikuta’s personal and professional achievements as well as lifelong dedication to his community. He excelled in both high school and collegiate level sports activities including football, basketball and track and field, and after completing his medical degree he also served as team physician for Western High School in Anaheim, CA. Believing that the goal was to win future opportunities, not just winning medals, Dr. Ikuta encouraged his athletes to let their talents provide a path to future success through further education and training.

Ideal candidates for this annual scholarship will demonstrate continual pursuit of excellence in both academics and athletics
