Tiffany’s life took a dramatic turn in September 2010 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After almost 9 months of treatment, Tiffany was returned to good health and enjoyed the next year working, traveling and spending time with family & friends around the country. Sadly, in the summer of 2012 after experiencing excruciating pain in her hip and leg, Tiffany underwent several tests only to learn that her cancer had metastasized and spread to her bones. On September 11, 2012 Tiffany received the news that the cancer had also spread to five other areas of her body in her bones, as well as to her liver and lungs. After a brave battle, Tiffany lost her fight on March 20, 2013. To read about Tiffany’s journey, in her own words, go to www.caringbridge.org/visit/tiffanyalford.

Donations to the Tiffany Alford Memorial fund will be used to continue support of programs and causes that were close to Tiffany’s heart and to continue her legacy of investing in others. These programs include: a program at her local church which helps families pay for prescriptions they could not otherwise afford; a scholarship program to help high school seniors attend college; and other organizations that provide support for those battling cancer and other debilitating diseases.
