Hello Fund Administrators and visitors to CHARITYSMITH: National Society of Memorial Funds! My name is Ashley and I am proud to be the Executive Director of this amazing organization. - Simple tips to increase donations to your fund
Matching Gifts –
This is an easy way to increase donations that have already been made to your fund. A large majority of employers encourage charitable giving by offering to partially or fully match donations made by their employees. However, many employers simply don’t make this information known. If you issue personal thank you notes to your donors, remind them to ask their employers about matching gifts! In many cases it is a simple one page form that is then mailed in to our offices, we confirm the gift amount and the fund it is intended for. A few weeks later a Matching Gift check is issued to us with the name of the Memorial Fund in the memo.
